Summer is coming. Last chance for Val to get off those winter pounds. I eat a different salad meal every day. Variety keeps things interesting and with a few basic similarities, these selections help me stick to my plan.
One bag of romaine plus sliced English cucumber and grape tomatoes make the beginnings of a few salad choices.
The Greek includes the basic plus 1 can solid white tuna, roasted red peppers, red onion rings, fat free feta crumbles. Even fat free Italian dressing can't ruin the great taste of this.
Here's Tim's favorite - chicken and bacon bits with shredded cheese and ranch dressing. ( I always use fat free cheese and dressing).
The girls (I'm a fan, too) like the buffalo chicken salad. Take the basic and add chicken marinated in buffalo wing sauce, blue cheese crumbles and some yogurt based dressing.
